Each year, people put up Christmas trees for the holiday. Some people put up an aesthetic Christmas tree that follows a theme, matches your house, and has a nice, clean look. While some people, including me, put up a nostalgic-looking Christmas tree with ornaments that commemorate family members’ accomplishments.
According to MSN, “this year nostalgia is a leading force in design.”
Personally, I prefer the nostalgic kind of Christmas tree because I believe the connection to the past is very important in someone’s life and has a profound emotional impact on people.
According to Angie’s List, aesthetic Christmas trees can cost from $ 300 to $2,500, while nostalgic Christmas trees can cost anywhere from $30 to $300.
Although nostalgic Christmas trees have a messy, cluttered look and most of the time don’t match the house, while aesthetic Christmas trees do and seem to make your house look cleaner, nostalgic trees hold lots of important memories in a person’s life, and memories are more important than looks and aesthetics.
