Jackson Pena is a soft spoken sophomore at Liberty high school. So far he is not in any clubs at the high school, but he does have many hobbies he enjoys doing after school. He likes do things such as make hats, or doing some creative projects. “I just like to be creative,” Jackson said. Other things he enjoys after school consist of playing video games, some of his favorites are Call of Duty and Titanfall. While Jackson may seem like the quiet kind of person there’s much more to him than you’d think.
Jackson is a nature lover and a thrill seeker. Combine the two and he’s in! Some of his favorite outdoor activities are hiking and whitewater rafting. Jackson’s first hike was in Colorado where he and his family where at on a family vacation. He had never hiked before but after climbing up the mountain and a close call on the side of a cliff, he was hooked. “It was fun to look around and climb, I challenged myself to see what I could and couldn’t do,” he said. He is also a big fan of whitewater rafting. The first time he tried it was in Nashville where he really enjoyed the thrill. Jackson hopes to be able to be able to hike or water raft more in the near future, but for now he’s focusing on school.
