Elissa Ketcham

Elissa Ketcham, Reporter

Junior Elissa Ketcham is a new reporter for The Bell. She joined the newspaper class because of her love for writing, and she would like to expand the people she knows through interviews. Ketcham has an internship where she reviews and interviews people through Zoom, then writes stories for them.

“My one big talent is probably writing, but when it comes to writing, I’m a jack-of-all-trades: master,” Ketcham said.

LHS also has a Writer’s Club, which Ketcham founded and runs. There, members write fiction stories. Other items, besides writing, she is involved in at school include: Model UN and TSA. She also enjoys watching early screenings of movies. Her mom is a 2D animation teacher at Shawnie Mission in Kansas, and her dad works at a corporate job. Her younger sister, Chloe, is in seventh grade at St. Andrews in Gladstone. She also has two dogs: a chihuahua named Willy and a miniature pinscher named Rainbow.
