Senior Katie Ericksen joins the newspaper staff back for her second year, her position being the In-Depth section editor. After a year of focusing on internships and real-world experiences, Ericksen ultimately came back for another year because of her desire to practice and improve on journalism and technology skills. In her free time, Ericksen works at the local Starbucks and enjoys spending time outside.

   “I love the community. I took this class again because I really do want to focus on journalism and love the community of this class.”
