Freshman Niki Benhardt has just opened up the newest chapter to her own story and she is even starting to write about it! Benhardt is a very outgoing person who looks forward to each day.

When people think of the future they either think positively or negatively. Niki is extremely excited about the future. Her dream job is to work at Children’s Mercy. She would like to be a children’s doctor, a physical therapist or a special education doctor.

“I’m most excited to learn new lessons and getting to know more things so I can branch off to things to help [others] in the future,” Benhardt said.

Along with looking forward to the future, Benhardt is getting prepared for what all this school year will contain. She is very involved in theater and will be auditioning for the musical. “I was in two shows and wanted to pursue it even more,” Benhardt said. Writing is also a passion because it helps her relieve stress and she’s good at it.

She is looking into going to Mizzou or Arizona for college right now. This summer she visited Alabama with her family. “We had a really good time there and traveling there,” Benhardt said. “We drove 13 hours and had good bonding time.”

She is fun loving and very outgoing. “I don’t care what people think of me.” Benhardt said. That is a true motto to live by. She wants to help people at all times and she’s very optimistic towards all aspects of life. She is looking forward to what this year will hold and enjoying her newfound passions even more.
