Having a bad day? Junior Mara Fryer can change that in a heartbeat. Fryer is sure to make you laugh and is always in a positive mood. This is Fryer’s second year on being on The Bell staff but her first year with newspaper. “I joined newspaper because I really enjoyed photojay so I wanted to do both,” Fryer said. When asked what her favorite thing about newspaper is she said, “I really like the people, it’s just a very fun environment to be in.” Besides from newspaper Fryer is also involved in Rugby and is a Manager for our school’s wrestling team. This will be here first year of being with girl’s rugby team this year and her third year of maging the wrestling team. Aside from school Fryer loves to kickback and hang out with her friends. This summer she had a lot of time to do that. “I like to hangout with my friends, we go shopping a lot and we like to go get some food. I also love to play with my dog Izzie,” Fryer said. One of her favorite things is to talk about her dog and look at pictures of other dogs, who wouldn’t? But sadly this summer wasn’t all just hanging out with friends. “I worked a lot this summer and I spent a lot of my money,” Fryer mentioned. Regarding the school year Fryer is looking forward to many things. “I’m looking forward to starting a new sport and making new friends, I love making new friends,” Fryer said. She also wants to improve herself as much as possible this year. This upbeat and kind student is bound to make anyone happy and is looking forward to a great year on The Bell staff.
