Junior Brodie Jobe is doing a great job as a Social Media Manager for the Bell with Instagram and his main focus Twitter, but he takes joy in much more than just social media. 

   “ I think it’s nice to make a class as specific as Newspaper. Newspaper is very important for our school and community because it’s the way we get out our school news and the news about the area.” Jobe said.

   He thinks it’s essential for people to share out their opinions and share what's happening in the world. He says those types of people are his idols.

   “It was freshman year my ELA teacher brought up that, or she was handing out a flier that the school had a newspaper and that they needed people to join, that they wanted people to join, it kinda caught me with a little bit of an interest,” Jobe said.

   Jobe misses all of the seniors he worked with last year. He says the seniors made it a great environment and liked seeing what they would do and how they did it.

   “I plan on going to college, maybe getting my degree in like the medical field somewhere. Like nursing, but sadly probably nothing with newspaper.” Jobe said.
