Freshman Brodey Hutton

Freshman Brodey Hutton, Reporter

A bubbling freshman with ambitions as bright as his future. Brodey Hutton is a young man with a drive to do journalism

“I actually applied for a yearbook and photojay as well,” Hutton said. “My primary choice was Newspaper because I liked it the most out of the three. Eventually, the counselor told me that I couldn't do four classes that required me to sign forms. I eventually just decided to do Newspaper and hope I get in.”

Obviously Hutton wants to pursue journalism this year, but that's not the only thing that interests him. Other things include reading, writing and track and field.

“ I plan to do shot put and discuss because I do not like to run,” Hutton said.

His favorite subjects in school are social studies and ELA.

“I love learning about the world, history and current events,” Hutton said. “ I enjoy ELA because I love to read and write. I love reading because it is such an easy way to relax. I could find a book in a second and completely zone out. I’m fond that aspect of it. Writing is a creative way to let my mind flow and let me think.

His enjoyment of current events pushes him to do Newspaper and report on things happening locally and nationally.

Outside of school, Hutton plays video games and is a humongous Chiefs fan.

“Watching football and having something to root for is just amazing,” Hutton said. “ I also enjoy the technical side of it. Breaking down plays and figure out what is going on down on the field.

Hutton is very determined to pursue his passions, a great quality to have. He won't back down from things he wants to do and he can achieve anything he puts his mind to.
